Working through live virtual classroom sessions, a group of 10 students learn the ins and outs of collaborative songwriting and recording of a structured group Hip Hop song.

Students record vocals easily using a simple desktop online audio recording program, or iphone. Students choose to rap, sing, write, “ghost write” (play a role in writing but not recording or appearing on the song), or go for it all!

Recordings are easily forwarded to Mr. Marc who then inserts, mixes, and masters student vocals into the group song.

Students receive a professionally mixed and mastered MP3 of the song. They are guided by an established Billboard Charts and Rolling Stone Magazine featured artist known to us as Mr. Marc.

Mr. Marc will conduct an initial 10 minute interview to determine eligibility. Students receive official Raise The Bar acceptance letters.
